It?s great for drawing out impurities and detoxifying so if you?ve been feeling a bit sluggish and lost that spring in your step this treatment will lift your sprits and rejuvenate you. If you have a holiday booked it?s perfect for conditioning skin ready for the summer sunshine.
What should I expect?
Your whole body is brushed followed by a luxurious body scrub, using our very own delectable Coconut and Sugar Body Scrub, the scrub is massaged all over your body, then gently removed with hot mitts. Relax as you are cocooned in mud and wrapped before been covered with warm towels as your therapist performs a soothing scalp massage while the mud penetrates your skin. Shower away the mud before your body is enveloped in warm Maximum Conditioning Body Lotion to replenish skin.
What are the benefits?
Mud 'n Scrub is a fantastic all over body experience that will leave you feeling re-energised and your skin super soft. Body brushing increases circulation improving the appearance of cellulite and removing dead skin cells to leave skin revitalised. The exfoliating properties of the scrub will inject a new lease of life into your skin, leaving it invigorated, whilst the rich moisturising properties of coconut oil leave your skin silky smooth. Deep cleansing mud draws out impurities and toxins, whilst nourishing the skin. A relaxing scalp massage will ensure that the stresses and strains of the day evaporate. Finally rich moisturising lotion nourishes skin leaving it hydrated and velvety soft. This invigorating treatment will leave your skin in tip top condition and ready to face its public.
Contra Indications
Some medical conditions can make certain treatments unsafe for you. To avoid disappointment on the day, please let us know before your visit if you or any of your group is suffering from any ailments or conditions and we can offer guidance on how to plan the best day around your circumstances.
In particular, Waterfall Spa recommends guests who suffer from the following conditions not to have this treatment:
- - Chemotherapy or Radiation Therapy Treatments Within Last 6 Months
- - Currently Receiving skin Peeling Treatments - no heat or abrasive treatments
- - Feeling unwell or Flu Symptoms
- - Heart Condiations/Pacemaker
- - High Blood Pressure treated with medication
- - High/Low Blood Pressure not treated with medication
- - Pregnancy or recently had a baby / breastfeeding
- - Malignant Tumour
- - Recently Shaved areas / waxed
- - Under the influence of Alcohol or Judgement impairing Drugs
All Waterfall treatments are subject to a completed medical questionnaire on the day of your visit. If you do suffer from any contra indications but feel strongly about having specific treatments then you may be required to bring a GP?s note confirming that it is safe for you to have certain treatments.
