Our rich algae infuses minerals into your body that boost your system and rejuvenate your skin. After cleansing, your whole body is polished to remove any old skin cells that dull your appearance. The algae is then applied before you are wrapped to allow its detoxifying and nourishing properties to take effect. Combined with our very own foot ritual before and a scalp massage after ensures that you feel totally relaxed before showering to cleanse and wash away the algae and impurities it has drawn from your skin. Your body is then lathered in our own moisturiser to leave your skin as soft as silk..

Our Algae Body Wrap is a great detoxifying treatment that is perfect for purifying the skin – so it?s the perfect treatment to take when recovering from an illness, at the start of a slimming programme, or if you?re simply feeling that your skin could do with a little extra TLC to look great for that special occasion.
What should I expect?
Firstly your Therapist will apply our exclusive Coconut Sugar Scrub to your body, which will exfoliate and invigorate your skin. This is followed by your Hot Algae Mask – which is applied gently to the whole body – then, as the rich Algae minerals are absorbed into the body, you?ll be wrapped up to maximise it?s effect. Whilst you relax with the Algae Body Wrap, you?ll experience a Head Massage to add to your comfort. Finally, after taking an invigorating shower and washing the Algae away, you?ll lie back down on our sumptuous Italian leather beds to enjoy our Maximum Conditioning Body Lotion to moisturise your skin and leave it sparking.

Contra Indications
Some medical conditions can make certain treatments unsafe for you. To avoid disappointment on the day, please let us know before your visit if you or any of your group is suffering from any ailments or conditions and we can offer guidance on how to plan the best day around your circumstances.
In particular, Waterfall Spa recommends guests who suffer from the following conditions not to have this treatment:
- - Allergies to Seafood
- - Chemotherapy or Radiation Therapy Treatments Within Last 6 Months
- - Currently Receiving skin Peeling Treatments - no heat or abrasive treatments
- - Heart Condiations/Pacemaker
- - High Blood Pressure treated with medication
- - High/Low Blood Pressure not treated with medication
- - Pregnancy or recently had a baby / breastfeeding
- - Malignant Tumour
- - Thyroid Conditions
- - Under the influence of Alcohol or Judgement impairing Drugs
All Waterfall treatments are subject to a completed medical questionnaire on the day of your visit. If you do suffer from any contra indications but feel strongly about having specific treatments then you may be required to bring a GP?s note confirming that it is safe for you to have certain treatments.

I am not that familiar with body wraps, but I decided to get this one after browsing the website. I have to say I was really impressed with this treatment, it was a new experience to me but it left my skin much brighter than before ? next time I think I?ll choose one of the signature treatments, but I would recommend this if you are planning a visit to Waterfall.
